Bborn chooses Tripartie to resolve user disputes on its platform
Stéphanie Dufaut and Sarah Abad, the founders of Bborn, are both mothers of two children and have worked as childminders for around ten years. Their experience in the early childhood sector has made them aware of the diversity of purchases required for children, and the significant financial impact of these acquisitions on family budgets.
Stephanie and Sarah realized that the needs of pregnancy and childhood are often temporary and short-lived, which led them to adopt a second-hand approach. They were frequent users of second-hand platforms, which inspired them to create Bborn. Their challenge was to create an accessible and sustainable solution for parents, while supporting the local economy and reducing environmental impact.
Bborn's initial problem
The marketplace is dedicated to the sale and rental of second-hand childcare items, children's clothing for 0-16 year olds, maternity clothing and accessories, as well as games and toys between private individuals. This platform creates a collaborative economy and promotes more sustainable consumption.
French designers and professionals can offer their wares for sale or rent completely free of charge, giving customers the opportunity to purchase French-made products. This supports the local economy and reduces the environmental footprint. In return, designers benefit from increased visibility and an opportunity to develop their business.
As part of their launch, the Bborn team wanted to combine an innovative approach with high-quality after-sales service. To meet this challenge, Bborn collaborated with Tripartie and its Resolution Center service. The integration of the solution provides platform users with a simple, efficient and secure dispute resolution process.
Added value of Tripartie
Bborn aims to reach 100 daily transactions and over 100,000 users by the end of its first year of operation. Stéphanie and Sarah have several development ideas for the future of Bborn, including the creation of a mobile application to build customer loyalty. In the future, Bborn will position itself as a springboard for French know-how, with a focus on more responsible, sustainable consumption.
Thanks to its modular architecture, the partnership between Bborn and Tripartie makes it possible to
- Express deployment of the Plug&Play solution;
- Full support from a dedicated project manager;
- Compliance with Digital Services Act regulations;
- A product architecture to support Bborn in both desktop and mobile versions.
